Gonzalo García-Valdecasas Colell is a Founding Partner and Attorney in the Fintech and Corporate sectors with extensive experience in information technology, data protection, blockchain, cybersecurity, and financial and banking regulatory matters. He has served in firms specializing in commercial and regulatory law and has been a founding partner and director of various legal and financial technology start-ups (nominated for Expansión Jurídico awards).
Additionally, Gonzalo has taught the Legal Tech Master’s program at Universidad CEU San Pablo and the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Master’s program at Universidad Internacional de Valencia, as well as at ISDE and EAE Business Schools.
He holds a Law Degree from the University of Granada—where he received the Extraordinary Work Award—and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa. He also completed a Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession and a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and New Technologies (both as the top of his class) at IE Law School, and a Specialization Program in Financial Markets Law from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles.

Antonio Vázquez Ferrer is a Founding Partner and Attorney in the Fintech sector. He has advised numerous companies in commercial, technological, and fintech areas, particularly on projects related to Blockchain technology. He has been involved in various processes for obtaining licenses and administrative authorizations in the fintech sector and registering entities in public registries.
Antonio holds a Law and Business Administration degree from the University of Valencia. He also has postgraduate studies including a Master’s in International Relations with Asia, a Master’s in Tax Law from CEF, a Double LLM in Law and Technology from IE Law School, and a Specialization Program in Financial Markets Law from IEB.

Paula holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of Alicante, a Master’s in Foreign Trade from ICEX, a Master’s in Legal Practice from UNIR, and a Master’s in Legal Tech from Universidad CEU San Pablo.
She began her professional experience at the Spanish Embassy in Washington DC in the Multilateral Department, later worked in the Tax and Accounting area at Auditec Consultores, and subsequently joined Telefónica in the Legal Department.

María González Romero is the Human Resources Manager at CYSAE. She handles recruiting, onboarding, and supporting the entire CYSAE team. Additionally, she is responsible for training coordination and team evaluation.
She graduated in Labor Relations and Employment from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Juan Pablo Fernández is a Business Advisor at CYSAE. With 25 years of experience in entrepreneurship and 9 years in the Tech, Blockchain, and FinTech industries, he now focuses on consulting, strategy, and business development. His extensive experience with numerous startups and technology companies in high-responsibility and leadership roles has allowed him to discover and add value to various professionals, business models, and structures. He is particularly skilled at quickly identifying what works and what is destined to fail, whether due to strategic, management, or development errors, and helping to resolve these issues.
He is deeply involved in technical processes within technology companies, enjoying a close understanding of not just the products, but also how they are developed and executed. Miguel Ángel Romero de los Llanos is a consultant and advisor in technology at CYSAE. He specializes in cybersecurity and software development, advising various companies while also running his own tech firm. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, he honed his skills at ECIJA, one of the most recognized tech law firms in Spain and Latin America. Additionally, he is one of the founders of the Cyber Defense Directorate of the Spanish Air Force and has worked with NATO during his more than 9 years in the Air Force.

He is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MBA from ESADE. Throughout his career, Ignacio has held key roles at prestigious international firms such as CBRE, Nuveen, PwC, and EY, working across Spain, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
A master of Excel and VBA, Ignacio balances his professional expertise with mountain skiing adventures and cooking homemade paellas.
Pablo Monchón González is part of the Administration and Accounting team, where he helps efficiently manage accounting and administrative operations. His professional experience includes creating content on law and technology for social media, contributing to major tokenization projects such as Token City. He brings a strategic vision focused on emerging markets and has developed his own projects, primarily on platforms like TikTok and YouTube, where he educates and informs new audiences about legal topics in an engaging and accessible way.

Assumpta Gómez Marco is a Paralegal at CYSAE, where she is part of the Regulatory and Technology team, undertaking a wide range of tasks within these areas.
A Law graduate from the University of Valencia, Assumpta also holds a Master’s in Legal Practice and Advocacy and a Master’s in Legal Tech from Universidad CEU San Pablo. She specialized in FinTech and financial regulation, with a particular focus on blockchain technology and its implementation in the Spanish legal landscape.
Although her name is Assumpta, everyone knows her as Pochi. Her dream? To launch her very own cryptocurrency: Pochicoin.
Gonzalo Mazo Vaquero holds a degree in Finance and is currently developing his expertise in the Corporate Finance area at CYSAE. Specifically, he supports the firm’s clients with financial matters stemming from legal compliance, ensuring their business operations run as smoothly as possible.
Gonzalo has experience in investment banking and corporate finance, having worked as an Investment Banking Intern at Atefi, where he refined his skills in corporate finance and gained in-depth knowledge of the M&A sector.
He graduated in Business Administration from the University of Cantabria and has furthered his education at prestigious international institutions such as Università degli Studi di Perugia and the London School of Economics. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Financial Institutions and Markets at CUNEF University, strengthening his technical and analytical profile.
